Unhurried from start to finish
Six simple steps, so you always know what comes next.
We talk first
We start with a conversation about your hair type, the style you have in mind and anything I should know. We look at braid styles, lengths and colors that suit your face and your personality.
We prepare your hair
Once we settle on a style, I wash, condition and detangle your hair, then apply a protective oil or serum to your hair and scalp so everything stays hydrated while we work.
We braid, section by section
I use quality braiding hair and work in neat sections so every braid is secure and consistent. I watch the tension closely. Braids should never pull or hurt.
We style it your way
When the braids are done, we shape the look together. That might mean trimming to your length, adding beads or creating a pattern that is yours alone.
We finish with shine
A light-hold finishing spray or oil adds shine and keeps frizz away. Then you see the full result in the mirror.
You leave with a plan
You get simple aftercare instructions so your braids last and keep their shape. Questions after you go home are always welcome.
The whole visit is meant to feel relaxing and stress-free, in a clean space with quality products and tools.

Hair is one of my favorite things to talk about, and braiding is a craft with centuries of history behind it.
Braids were never just a cute style. They carried meaning, community and identity. I treat every appointment with that respect, and I want you to sit back, exhale and leave feeling cared for.

What are your cancellation and deposit policies?
Every appointment needs a deposit, and deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit of [amount, Eva to confirm] holds your time and goes toward your service. Please cancel or reschedule at least [24 or 48 hours, Eva to confirm] ahead.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive with hair freshly washed and thoroughly blown out, with no products, no oils and no flakes, and with a clean scalp. I can turn away any client who has scabs or sores on the scalp, and I do not start on dirty or extremely knotted or tangled hair.
Is braiding hair included?
Braids, faux loc and passion twist styles include braiding hair in colors 1, 1b, 2, 27 and 30. Lengths past the waist and eccentric colors are add-ons.
What if I am running late?
